Permits are only required when placing a roll-off dumpster on public property. Neighborhood associations or City Hall may also require prior approval.
We base our recommendations on your type of debris, project scope, and whether you’re working on partial home cleanouts, office cleanouts, or construction debris dumpsters. Options range from a 10 Yard Roll-Off Dumpster to a 30 Yard Roll-Off Dumpster.
Extra weight may lead to additional cost. For reference, a 20-yard roll-off dumpster holds up to 4 mid-size pickup truck loads or about 180–240 32-gallon trash bags. For bulkier items like washing machines, larger containers may be necessary.

The cost depends on the size you order and the material or debris you’re putting in it. Pricing is available on our website, but call us if you have any questions. All of our dumpsters are priced fairly and include great customer service!
The dumpster must be loaded below the top rail. Any dumpster loaded over the top rail may be left onsite until you fix the load so our drivers can safely haul it. If loaded above the rail and we have to fix it or leave it, an extra charge will be applied to your card.
Concrete or dirt may be loaded no more than 2/3 full.
No, as long as we have placement instructions and a clear path, we can drop it off.
In some cases yes, but it’s best to check with your local municipality for their rules and regulations. Yellow Dumpster Service is not responsible for obtaining permits. Any fines for placing on the street will be charged to the customer.
Our drivers are careful when delivering the dumpster, however there is always potential for damage to driveways, landscaping, and lawns caused by heavy trucks, weight of the dumpsters, or poor surface conditions. Yellow Dumpster Service is not financially liable for any damages caused by normal operation and placement. Call us to discuss ways to prevent damage and protect your property.
We do not provide labor to load your dumpster. Dumpster rentals are a great choice over junk removal when you need time to decide what you will be throwing away and can load it at your convenience since we offer a long rental period.
No, we do not hide fees like other companies do.
We charge based on the following:
Base rate that includes delivery, pickup, a set rental period, and the weight allowance.
Weight overages will be charged at the overweight rate and prorated to the pound. (We don’t round up like other companies do.)
Restricted items: If you or anyone else places items we don’t accept, you will be charged accordingly (e.g. mattresses/box springs are $100 each).
Dry run fee: If we show up and can’t perform delivery or pickup for any reason, you will be charged a dry run fee.
