Delivery Terms & Conditions

  • Yellow Dumpster Service, Inc. (YDS, Inc.) is not responsible for property damage due to placement or pickup of our containers. YDS, Inc. drivers have the right to deny placement due to safety and/or damage concerns. Lawns and driveways/sidewalks can get damaged from the weight of the container/truck.
  • Our drivers also reserve the right not to place on soft surfaces due to rain/inclement weather. They can get stuck. Customer is responsible for any tow truck fees and an hourly wait time until the truck is freed, unstuck, and able to operate again.
  • We are not liable for property damage done to property not owned by you. We will not deliver if we cannot perform our service on your property or public property. You must have a property damage liability waiver form signed by the property owner before we will attempt to place across property lines.
  • Once our cans have been placed, DO NOT MOVE OUR CANS. If the can has been moved, you (the renter), by signing this ticket, agree to be liable for all associated property damages, move, or cleanup fees.
  • Customer is responsible for the dumpster while in the customer’s possession.
    • Any vandalism or graffiti to the dumpster is the customer’s responsibility.
    • If you damage our equipment/dumpsters while loading (including with machinery), you will be liable for all damages, including repair or replacement costs.
  • You may be required to have a parking permit/license by your local municipality. YDS, Inc. is not liable for fines or citations due to non-compliance. By signing, you agree to comply with all local ordinances and accept responsibility for any fines.
  • Delivery Period — Each delivery period includes 1 drop-off and 1 pickup only. Additional services will be treated as new orders.

Loading Terms & Conditions

OVERAGES
  • Any additional weight after the weight limit will automatically be charged a prorated amount of $125 per 1 ton over the allowed weight limit.
    Example: if you rented a 20 yard dumpster with a 2 ton limit, but your load weighed 3.45 tons, you would be charged 1.45 x $125 = $0.00 additional.
  • The container is your responsibility while in your possession until pickup. We accept no liability for its contents.
  • Do not load materials above the top of the container. Overloaded containers may be left on-site. A $175 fee will be charged.
  • Mattresses and box springs are an additional $100 per item.
  • Prohibited materials: Asbestos (without approval/manifest), liquids (paint, oil, gas, pesticides, cleaners, solvents), hazardous materials, tires, freon devices, batteries, chemicals, propane tanks, creosote lumber (without approval), explosives.You are responsible for all materials placed in the container. Violations may result in rejection or additional fees.
  • No refrigerators or freezers — $250 fee per item.
  • Dirt Only Dumpsters — Do not exceed 1/2 full. Max 10 tons (DOT). No mixed materials. Dirt must be level. Wet dirt may incur extra charges.
  • Concrete Only Dumpsters — Same rules as dirt. Wire mesh or rebar incurs additional fees.
  • Metal Only Dumpsters — No mixed materials, car parts, or hazardous materials. Tanks/drums require special handling.
  • Brush Only Dumpsters — Only brush or unfinished wood. No treated, painted, varnished, or creosote wood.
  • Dirt/Concrete/Metal/Brush dumpsters: if excluded materials are found, full price plus tonnage will be charged.
  • No mechanical compaction equipment allowed. Customer is liable for all damages, including full replacement.
  • $175 fee plus damages will be charged if compaction equipment is used.

Pickup Terms & Conditions

  • Pickup will occur anytime on day 10.
  • To extend beyond day 10, contact the office.
  • To request early pickup, contact the office.
  • The area around and in front of the dumpster must be clear of debris, snow, ice, or vehicles.
  • $150 dry run fee if pickup cannot be completed.
  • Wait time — $2/minute if the dumpster is not ready.
  • Customer is responsible for all weight overages.

Payment Terms & Conditions

  • All balances are Net 15. A 2% monthly fee applies after 30 days. Customer agrees to pay all legal/collection costs.
  • YDS, Inc. is not bound by verbal agreements made by drivers or agents. This document governs all terms.
  • Credit card on file may be used for all related charges and future orders.
